Broken

verb
1. past participle of break

1. reduced to fragments; fragmented.
2. ruptured; torn; fractured.

I read this definition and I know it’s my heart.

I understand many would see this and feel sad but I feel elated.

I have found freedom in my brokenness.

A power in the breakage.

Why?

When one is complete, one isn’t living.

This is a fractured world and nothing we can do can change that.

Life breaks up when we live it.

Everytime we reach out in love we risk a part of us.

I’m beautifully broken, perfectly imperfect, beautiful in my flaws. All together I am a beautiful disaster. Unknown

I love this about life, how loving costs us.

How opening our hearts is a risk.

A crazy fantastic risk.

The fastest, scariest roller coaster.

Heart pounding with adrenaline.

I am alive

“Finding beauty in a broken world is creating beauty in the world we find.”

Terry Tempest Williams

Beauty is found in the brokenness.

I am broken and I embrace it.

I am broken

I dared to love.

A beautiful way to look at brokenness

    Seeing beauty and freedom there!

Thank you for the reminder!! That beauty comes from the broken and He makes beauty from ashes!

“A power in the breakage.” I love this insight, Sara. Also the pic of flowers breaking through. Beautiful. Thank you, Sara.
